Currently serving as the Mayor of Buena Park, she has been a dedicated City Council Member since December 2020. Susan also served as the Executive Director of the Buena Park Collaborative, where she played a key role in fostering community partnerships and initiatives.
Before her leadership roles in public service, Susan was a Manager of Technical Services and brought valuable expertise to this role after spending over 25 years as a Business Analyst. Her career in the business sector is further distinguished by her early roles as a Consultant with various organizations during the early 1990s.
With her extensive background in both the private and public sectors, Susan Sonne brings a wealth of experience, technical acumen, and a strong commitment to community service to her role as Mayor, advocating for sustainable solutions and the betterment of Buena Park and its residents.
